Warning: Ella-free post. Feel free to disregard for those of you only interested in the cutest member of our crew. But, for those of you who are interested in Jason & I's life when we're not chasing around a crazy munchkin (what, you have a life apart from the munchkin?!?!) here is a little glimpse...
Jason took me to NYC to celebrate the big 3-0. That's right, I am no longer in my 20s. I can barely stand to type it. But, my 20s have been good to me and I'm excited to see what the 30s have in store. And, if starting the ride out in NY is any indication - it's going to be a good decade!

| Self portrait in Times Square on our first night there. |
| 9/11 Memorial. Must see. Very moving. |
| On the Staten Island Ferry. |
| J-Rock and the Statue of Liberty. |
| Checking out the exhibits @ the Met. (PS - they will get very mad if you touch these statues. There are no signs to warn you of this. Just FYI.) |
| Checking out the tomb. And, mad they are planning an event so we can't go inside :( |
| Jason & I @ Wicked. Which. was. awesome. |
| View from our seats. |
| Eating breakfast - hey, it's Detective Stabler! |
| View from the top of the Empire State Building! |
| Me and the hubs :) |
| And a very fat pigeon. |
| Checking out the Xmas displays @ Macys. |
| More Xmas displays. |
| The giant Rockefeller Christmas tree. They were putting the lights on while we were there - hence the scaffolding. |
| And, the giant Swarovski star that will go on top! |
| Central park. |
| And, me in central park :) |
| Jason chilling on the Highline before we headed to the airport. Which, by the way, is a very cool park I had never been to before. |
It was a great start to my 30s. We ate more than we should have, drank more than we should have and generally had an amazing time! Here's hoping the rest of my 30s can keep up :)
