I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...

...and, we got one! This officially marks my first White Christmas ever! (And, as a true Southern girl, I will have to say, I prefer the 70 degree Christmases myself!) I mean, the snow certainly made for a beautiful scene - it's just that it's so darn COLD!
We had a great time celebrating in Fort Mill on Christmas Eve and Christmas day before we headed down to Hartsville for some Kelley Christmastime.
Christmas Eve we headed to Church with the Carnes. Ella behaved for about half a second and then decided this whole "church" and "sitting still" thing just wasn't for her. So, she hung out in the nursery with Grandma and had a blast. Afterwards, we headed over to Great Grandma and Papa Sweem's house for a delicious dinner and some gift swapping. Here are some of the girls:
Ella opening some of her gifts with Dad:
Most of the pictures I have look like the one below. Ella was nonstop action the entire time. And, all of her cousins were super busy chasing her around, "helping" her open gifts, carrying her around, etc. They had a ball :)
All the cousins got PJs...even Ella :) Here they are hanging out on the couch.
And, Christmas morning Santa visited us at the Carnes house. Ella really racked up. She even got a dancing Mickey that really sings and dances. This has definitely won out as favorite toy thus far. Santa must have known what a good girl she was this year.
Mrs. Claus even made a debut for the occasion!
And, the day after Christmas we headed down to celebrate at Great Grand Bobbie's house. We were so happy to be able to celebrate with so many family members there!
Ella hanging on the couch with Kirkley.
Having a little snack.
John Dickson was very sweet and shared one of his new Christmas toys with Ella. Here she is with Aunt Amanda playing with talking Woody from Toy Story.
Funny how babies always seem to draw a crowd.
Uncle Adam and John Dickson with Buzz and Woody.
Ella helping to open some gifts.
John Dickson and Ella shaking some serious booty with Dancing Mickey. Hilarious video to follow soon. Mickey has gotten so much play time that he already needs new batteries. And, I need ear plugs :)
All in all we had a wonderful holiday season. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful friends and family and we are lucky to live close enough to be able to share this special season with all of them. We hope all of our readers had a happy holiday season, a very Merry Christmas and we wish you the best of luck in the New Year!
