Yesterday, we decided it might be time for a little road trip. So, Granna, Papa, Jason, Ella and I all piled in to the car and headed down to Hartsville, SC to visit with Ella's great-grandparents on the Kelley side of the family. Luckily, riding in the car is one of Ella's favorites - minus those pesky red lights. Who wants to stop at red lights anyway? Not our Ella - always needs to be on the move! She was very well behaved for both legs of the car trip. In fact, she slept the whole way both times - well, almost the whole way. She did wake up a couple of times to eat. You know our Ella never misses a meal!!
It was great to see Bobbie and Dick and we were so glad Ella finally got to meet them both! We had a nice lunch and a fun visit. We even got to see some of Papa's pictures and artwork from when he was little :) Here are some pictures from our visit...

In other news, we have a hit a big milestone that Mom and Dad could not be more excited about...we are SMILING! Hooray :) Ella is now smiling big, genuine, not-gas-related smiles!! We love it. Nothing could melt your heart more than seeing that sweet little face light up. I promise to post a picture as soon as I an capture this exciting event on camera.
