Today was Maggie's 5th birthday - sort of. Since the Mags was a shelter pup we have no idea when her actual birthday is. We chose Oct 1st when she was a puppy since it seemed reasonably close to when she was probably born. Lucky for her, Maggie has come a long way from her days on the streets. Today she enjoyed an
extra long walk, numerous treats and a special birthday cupcake. All in all, I'd say she had a pretty good day and I think she would agree.
We aren't sure how Maggie is going to react to the little one on the way but we have high hopes that she will be a good, albeit jealous, "big sister." So far she seems pretty indifferent to the whole process although she has expressed some concern over the redecorating of "her room" which is now the nursery. Speaking of which - check back soon for pictures from little Ella's room!!
