Family Fun

We had such a good time Father's Day weekend. Adam, Amanda and John Dickson were in town and we all had fun hanging at Granna and Papa's, eating lots of good food and swimming in the pool! Here are some fun shots from the weekend...

Ella getting all geared up for her first trip to the swimming pool. Watch out Sports Illustrated - I think we've got your cover shot for your next Swimsuit Edition!
Obviously, she had to put on her cover up. I mean, you can't just go walking around in your bathing suit. The boys would go crazy!
The cousins holding hands :) John Dickson is still not too sure what to think about Miss Ella.
She was such a little fish! It took her a little while to warm up to the pool but once she did she was nonstop kicking, splashing with her arms and even putting her face in the water. (Although, I suspect the face in the water part was more about trying to drink the pool water than anything else.)
All that swimming can be very tiring so Ella floated around a bit in her lily pad. What a cutie :)
Then it was back to Granna's to play a little bit in the "Global Command Center."
John Dickson showed Ella how experts play with the entertainer.
We had so much fun on Saturday we came back and did it again on Sunday! Here is the bathing beauty in her ladybug suit. Unfortunately, this is probably the first and last time she will wear it. As you can see, Ella is quite the "healthy" baby and those rolls made for a tight squeeze in this particular outfit. That is probably why she looks a little distressed in this picture. I can't breathe mom!
John Dickson and Ella in their shades at the pool.
John Dickson loved wearing his Nemo goggles - so cute! We asked John Dickson to hold hands with Ella. Apparently, all he could muster was holding her finger :)
And then, we all came home and took a nap :)
So much fun! We were so glad to see Adam, Amanda and John Dickson. He is just getting so big! We can't wait to see them again very soon - with baby Henry!!

Our camera ran out of batteries for the majority of the weekend's events - so thanks to Papa for the pictures! There is also some swimming video I'm going to try and post later if I can get it to work.
