So, Ella and I headed downtown to line up for the parade and everyone else met us at the end. The "parade" aka about 25 kids walking/riding/driving their Escalade power wheels (seriously, this kid's car was nicer than mine) about a mile down a road. In 100 degree weather. Uphill. Cute, but not all that fun.
Afterwards, we celebrated with some popsicles and settled in for the concert.
And then the thunder and lightening started :( So, we continued our picnic dinner at home. Luckily the food was still yummy and the company still entertaining and so a good time was had by all :)
